About the Event
Our Positive Creativity Playshop July theme is mind chatter, mad hatters, jibber jabber, and silly banter!
Together we will use creative play and expression in innovative ways to explore thought patterns and inner dialogue, especially our ever-present friend/enemy Mind Chatter! Playing with voice, music, movement, theater games, and art we will explore the 4 main categories of our thoughts, 3 common cognitive distortions, and learn how to apply positive psychology tools to gently and kindfully manage those annoying and often self-sabotaging mind chatter judgements. If you have ever felt self-conscious in your life or like negative self-thoughts are always judging you...this is the topic for you!Â
In times of stress we are often in reactive and survival mode with negative thoughts so much that we can't access our best selves. We can do better! If you are feeling cranky, judgemental, and discouraged lately or just wondering how to process it…
